About you

  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, ICAI) or equivalent experience in manufacturing

  • Minimum of five years' leadership experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Proven expertise in ERP systems, ideally Oracle, with a knack for digital transformation

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills

  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

What you'll do

  • Lead the financial management of product costing and budgeting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance

  • Oversee and optimise product cost accounting frameworks aligned with company objectives

  • Manage and mentor the product accounting team, fostering technical excellence and sector compliance

  • Collaborate across functions to support integrated business planning and programme cost management

  • Ensure timely and rigorous validation of contract estimates, strategic plans, and forecasts

  • Lead financial reporting on product costs, ensuring transparency and integrity

  • Maintain compliance with SSRO regulations, UK GAAP, IFRS, and MOD standards

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Oracle ERP and BI tools

  • Provide strategic financial insights to senior management to inform decision-making
