Financial Controller (65k/Progress to FD)

VANRATH have partnered with a well-known and successful company who have an opportunity for an experienced and high-calibre finance professional to join the team as a Financial Controller.

As the role will have full responsibility for the finance function and strategically supporting the other directors as a member of senior leadership, it will have a natural progression to Finance Director.

Client:

Our client is a well-established retail business, which includes wholesale and ecommerce. It continues to expand its market share through progressive growth strategies and long-term commercial agreements.

The Requirements:

• Qualified accountant with over 5 years of relevant senior finance experience.
• Detailed understanding of Company accounts, with strong accounting background.
• Experience in commercial role.
• Communicates effectively and has exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Understands financial reporting and has strong analytical skills.
• Manages direct reports and leads a growing team.
