About you
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong communication skills with a desire to develop your career further
- Proficient in business analytics and Excel
- Experience working within a commercial environment or relevant secondment
- Familiarity with ERP systems (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
What you'll do
- Oversee financial reporting for a portfolio of contracts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare monthly management accounts and conduct detailed contract analysis
- Perform variance analysis on contract performance, highlighting risks or deviations
- Engage with contract managers and stakeholders to resolve financial queries
- Support statutory compliance including VAT, RCT, CIS, and Irish audit requirements
- Contribute to business improvement projects, enhancing commercial finance partnerships
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Create insightful reports to assist senior management in decision-making
