Client

VANRATH are recruiting a Financial Accountant to join a major employer in Belfast city centre who contribute significantly to the local economy. They are currently recruiting a Financial Accountant to join their finance team for an initial period of 9 months. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for preparation of monthly and annual management accounts, financial management and supporting the Finance Business Partner and Financial Controller.

Interviews will take place week beginning 18th July 2023.

The Ideal Person

If you've 2+ years' PQE and are a commercially minded individual;

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Knowledge of UK GAAP/FRS 102
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Experience of Treasury Management (Desirable)
• Experience of Oracle (Desirable)

As a Financial Accountant you will:

• Preparation of money and annual management accounts
• Application of financial controls, ensuring all finance procedures are reviewed and updated
• Month end reconciliations, including balance sheet accounts
• Operational management of insurance for all company assets
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
