About you

  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance support role
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with bookkeeping principles
  • Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, NetSuite)
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organisation and communication abilities
  • Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ideally part-qualified (AAT, ATI) or actively pursuing finance qualifications

What you'll do

  • Support day-to-day transactional processes including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare month-end schedules
  • Assist with VAT returns, audit preparations, and compliance activities
  • Proactively manage debtor and creditor accounts, supporting credit control & supplier relationships
  • Contribute to process improvements within the finance function and support ad hoc projects
