An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a highly regarded and well-resourced employment team, known for advising on complex, high-profile and strategically important matters.

This is a chance to work alongside experienced practitioners on a broad range of employment issues, supporting a diverse client base that includes large corporates, financial institutions, and public sector organisations. The team is recognised for delivering pragmatic, commercially focused solutions across the full spectrum of employment law.

The Role

You will play a key role in advising clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, often involving multi-faceted and business-critical issues.

Your work will include:

  • Managing a varied caseload spanning advisory, transactional, and contentious employment matters
  • Supporting on employment litigation, tribunal proceedings, and dispute resolution
  • Advising on complex workplace issues including disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies, restructuring and organisational change
  • Assisting clients with HR investigations and sensitive internal processes
  • Drafting and implementing employment contracts, policies, and governance frameworks
  • Advising on employment aspects of corporate transactions and business reorganisations
  • Working closely with HR teams, in-house counsel and senior stakeholders to deliver strategic, solution-focused advice

The team operates in a highly collaborative way, often working alongside specialists across other practice areas to provide seamless, joined-up advice to clients.

About You

You will be a qualified Solicitor with a strong foundation in employment law, ideally gained within a recognised employment or commercial practice.

You will also demonstrate:

  • Experience across both contentious and advisory employment work
  • Strong technical ability, with a commercial and solutions-oriented approach
  • Confidence in advising clients directly and managing relationships
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills
  • The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-performing environment
  • A proactive mindset and a genuine interest in developing your expertise

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join a team that is consistently involved in complex, high-value matters and is trusted by leading organisations on their most important employment issues.

You can expect:

  • Exposure to high-quality, often high-profile work
  • A collaborative and supportive team environment
  • Structured career development and genuine progression opportunities
  • Ongoing investment in training and technical excellence
  • A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package

If you're looking to take the next step in your employment law career within a top-tier, forward-thinking team, I'd be happy to discuss this opportunity in more detail.
