VANRATH is particularly excited to be partnering with a global consultancy and instantly recognisable brand, as they seek to appoint an Early Careers Manager for their Belfast office.

In a key, project led, role, this is an exciting opportunity for those who are passionate about early careers and/or career changers. Reporting to the Talent Operations Leader, you will be working with a range of internal and external stakeholders and you would be the type of personality who enjoys being innovative and visionary to go about reaching target audiences.

Key Requirements

  • A well developed network across the education sector and previous experience in early careers attraction and recruitment is preferable

  • Previous experience of driving the pipeline, delivery and operational governance of large scale recruitment projects including conducting interviews

  • Strong commercial thinking and business acumen with the ability to see the bigger picture and translate strategic thinking into a detailed operational plan

  • Knowledgeable and passionate about early years talent channels and effective engagement activities

  • An effective communicator and influencer with a track record of successfully building valuable and credible relationships

  • Creative and visionary, forward thinking, and proactive as well as delivery focused

  • Ability to motivate others and demonstrate strong team-work

Key Responsibilities

    • Work with stakeholders to identify the volume and skills required across each of the key business areas and in conjunction with the Talent Operations Leader, design and implement a strategy to deliver at pace and scale utilising current talent channels, as well as identifying new channels.

    • Identify, develop and maintain strong partnerships across the school, college and university network maximising all opportunities to engage with potential talent

    • Influence and drive recruiters and third party providers for maximum delivery of all necessary activities such as the creation of impactful and relevant job descriptions and leveraging job boards and attraction campaigns to ensure a constant pipeline of talent

    • Drive metrics and processes to better measure achievements and increase conversion rates

    • Review and improve the quality of candidates through effective selection methods including assessments and interviews as well as the use of technology.
