Job Description

VANRATH have partnered with a High-end, Luxurious organisation that is looking to attract an Document Controller who will join the design team, becoming part of a prestigious organisation that continually handles multi-million pound deals and offers one of the most interesting Assistant Document Controller positions in the Country.

The successful candidate will work in the company's very modern Antrim office. Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.30pm, Friday 8.30am - 3.00pm.

Salary

£25,000 - £30,000 (+ incentives for working, and development opportunities)

Responsibilities:

Working within the busy Design Department as part of a design team of around 30 individuals. The successful candidate will assist the Senior Document Controller with the effective control of project documentation across all projects

  • Recording flow of Docuementation
  • Reproduction of drawings and documents (hardcopy and electronic).
  • Registering and distribution of incoming and outgoing drawings and documentation.
  • Quality checking of documentation before distribution to client document management systems.
  • Assisting with production of O&M Manuals.
  • Organising and maintaining the samples library and issuing samples for live
  • Providing administrative support to the Design Team
  • Developing an understanding of 2D and 3D drawing and AutoCAD software through on-the-job training and development and external courses where relevant.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Document Control within a design setting ideal or strong document management skills ideal
  • Strong Admin Experience
  • Experience of AutoCAD would be an advantage
  • Admin experience, and IT skills preferred

You will find yourself travelling to meet with clients at their offices, enabling you to find out about their future business goals and identify new opportunities. Attending networking events presents more opportunities to learn about developments within your industry and find client companies to do business with. Additionally, you will no doubt, have the opportunity to mentor new Recruitment Consultants joining your firm.
