Job Description

This is an exciting and challenging role which will provide the opportunity to create and deliver on current and future digitisation projects within the college. You will ensure that the College is able to maximise resources, mitigate risk and ensure the effective management of digital projects which will help the College meet its strategic priorities. The Ideal Person

As a Digital Projects Manager with our College, you will be responsible for managing any current and future digitisation projects within the College. This will involve supervising colleagues in the Innovative Learning & Digital Transformation team and working with departments across the College in reviewing existing processes and facilitating the successful implementation of new systems. As Digital Projects Manager, you will ensure that the College is able to maximise resources, mitigate risk and ensure the effective management of digital projects which will help the College meet its strategic priorities. Ideal Skillset required;

  • Proven experience in Business Systems Analyst
  • Experience in Digital Project management and delivering of digitised projects
  • Experience of using data analysis tools such as PowerBI
  • Experience in the Analysis and documentation of business processes within an enterprise;
  • Gathering business requirements and delivering specifications for complex changes
  • Analysis, testing and implementation of business systems;
  • Managing and mitigating project risks;
  • Creation and maintenance of project documentation and reports;

Responsibilities

As the Digital Projects Manager;

  • Oversee the review of the current processes across all campuses and the adoption of the changes required in order to ensure the successful implementation of new digital systems within the College.
  • In consultation with staff across different departments, analyse and document all 'as-is' and 'to-be' processes and policies.
  • Analyse the potential impact of the new systems and make the necessary adjustments to processes and policies to accommodate changes to service delivery.
  • Review business activities across the College and identify and implement procedures to ensure systems are implemented effectively.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the IL & DT team to develop comprehensive project plans to ensure the successful implementation of new systems.
  • Lead on the planning for digital projects, working with Departmental Heads to estimate staff resources to support implementation and identify training needs.
