VANRATH are recruiting a Design Coordinator to work for a leading commercial fit-out contractor, based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Remuneration:

c£35,000 to £45,000 + package

Client:

Our client is a leading commercial fit-out contractor that have been operating for over 50 years. They specialise in creating outstanding interior fit-outs for the commercial, hospitality and retail sectors. The company take pride in creating bespoke solutions for their clients and due to the quality of their work win a lot of repeat business.

Business is very busy and they currently have multiple projects ongoing with many more in the pipeline. They have a great opportunity for a Design Coordinator to join the business on a permanent basis, based in their offices near Belfast.

The Design Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the design process on joinery manufacturing and installations, interior design and fit-out, liaising with clients and managing the Design Technicians.

The Ideal Person:

• Degree qualified or other relevant qualifications
• Track record working for a reputable Main Contractor
• Experience working on commercial fit-out projects
• Track record working as a Design Coordinator or Manager
• Experience in 2D and 3D CAD Design
• Have previous experience in scheduling materials and preparing cutting list
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients
• Excellent IT skills and relevant Software experience
