Database Administrator - Belfast



A rapidly growing software company that provides bookmaker software solutions seeks a detail-oriented individual to join the team and communicate with customers and product owners. The role requires excellent communication skills and organizational abilities. Innovation is a priority and continued growth depends on enhancing the product portfolio to meet client and market needs.


REQUIREMENTS


* Troubleshoot and resolve third line incidents and problems
* Manage and administer the overall database infrastructure
* Manage, administer, ensure availability, improve performance of SQL databases
* Script and migrate code and schema between dev, test, and prod servers
* Export/import client and analytics data with transformations
* Write optimized T-SQL queries for database objects and reports
* Write and develop production database objects such as tables, indexes, procedures, triggers, views, functions
* Optimize data patterns to improve performance, maintainability, and security
* Update and upgrade SQL Server versions across production, reporting, test, and dev database servers


DESIRABLE
* Knowledge of the betting industry
* Knowledge of agile methodology
* IT/Software development background
