The opportunity
My client is currently on the lookout for a data management consultant to help accelerate the pace and scale of insight led transformation you can offer clients. Whilst Analytics and AI are driving the transformation, we all know that success isn't possible without someone taking care the Data Management needed to ensure transformation insights can be delivered at scale. Their fast-growing Data & Analytics practice in Technology Consulting needs Data Management expertise!
Your key responsibilities
* Deliver added value to the clients by providing knowledge, ideas and solutions for improving their data management approach
* As a member of the delivery team you will work with the engagement lead to deliver against key requirements
* Work as part of hybrid teams including on/offshore teams
* Contribute to the translation of business requirements into data and support the identification and acquisition of data ensuring adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data
* Assist with reports and data extraction when needed
* Troubleshoot data-related problems and advise on maintenance or modifications as appropriate
* Use your skills and knowledge in the development and use of data management solutions
* Strong understanding of databases and data analysis procedures
* Identify and contribute to new business opportunities and help to ensure the business is positioned to capitalize on opportunities by providing high quality services to its clients
* Demonstrate professionalism and competence in all interactions with the client
* Build strong internal relationships within the business and with other service lines across the organization to ensure efficient utilization of knowledge and resources to deliver services

Skills and attributes for success
* You have relevant work experience in Business or Technology Consulting
* Experience of working in hybrid teams
* Experience working across data management platforms

Ideally, you'll also have
* Experience of projects in both waterfall and agile environments
* Experience of delivering projects to external clients
* Experience working with on/offshore delivery teams
* Experience using Microsoft SQL, and Data Visualisation products including PowerBI
* Demonstrable experience and expertise in handling large complex data sets
