Data & Analytics Manager (Professional Services) (Strategy M)

Join a leading organization in Data & Analytics as a Manager for Information Strategy in Belfast. As a thought leader in their fast-growing consulting practice, you will assist clients in navigating a complex and ever-changing data landscape. By utilizing your expertise in data governance and BI architecture, you will help clients develop strategies for success.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience in:

  • Developing and adopting an Information Strategy roadmap,
  • Creating D&A business cases, and leading a team
  • Prior experience with big four consulting or equivalent is preferred.

The key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Enhancing our clients' data management approach by providing expert knowledge, ideas, and solutions
  • Translating business requirements into technology requirements and establishing data standards and principles
  • Designing data architecture that meets business needs while maintaining flexibility and adaptability
  • Defining data architecture framework, standards, and principles, including modeling, data flows, metadata, security, and reference data
  • Supporting data engineering teams in adhering to data architecture and modeling standards
  • Developing documentation and governing data architecture deliverables such as blueprints, principles, procedures, and standards
  • Ensuring data architecture and design aligns with data privacy and protection policies
  • Supporting senior leadership in identifying new business opportunities and positioning EY to capitalize on them by providing high-quality services
  • Maintaining professionalism and competence in all client interactions
  • Building strong relationships within EY Consulting Services and across other service lines to effectively utilize knowledge and resources to deliver services

The ideal candiadte should have the following:

  • A minimum of 6-10 years of experience in Business or Technology Consulting
  • At least 3 years of managerial experience
  • Fluency in English

Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have:

  • Experience and accreditation with Microsoft Azure's data platform, including Data Factory, Purview, Synapse, Data Lake, Data Bricks, Analytics and Power BI
  • Knowledge of other cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python and ETL/ELT
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices
  • Exposure to ITIL and CobiT methodologies
  • TOGAF certification
  • Experience leading on/offshore delivery teams"

Additionally, knowledge of CDO office design, analytics delivery methodologies and TOM process design, ETL, Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence and Analytics HL Architecture, BI, Analytics and Data Science Enablement is required.
