Credit Controller (IATI Pathway)
VANRATH is delighted to be recruiting for a Credit Controller for a well-known organisation which is at the forefront of its industry. Due to organic growth and recent acquisitions, our client has grown rapidly and is now keen to appoint a Credit Controller. Our client will support your professional IATI qualification, and with hands on training from an incredibly experienced FD, the successful candidate is guaranteed a supportive learning environment. The Role
The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Director and receive comprehensive training from the FD also. The role will offer a varied day to day working environment, helping the new Credit Controller build a solid foundation in accounting principles. The successful candidate, will be responsible for the following:

  • Full Credit Control administration for the group
  • Daily monitoring of bank accounts and related cash in-flows
  • Sales invoicing for all customers for services provided
  • Liaising with all stakeholders for the timely resolution of any queries
  • Various ad hoc queries that may arise as part of the role
  • Completion of bank reconciliations on a timely basis
  • Liaising with our branch network for query resolution purposes
  • Support in compliance administration throughout the business
  • Involvement in the sales invoicing process for services
  • Liaising with all stakeholders for the timely resolution of queries



The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have work experience aligned with the above duties and have strong IT skills. The successful candidate will show drive to complete their professional IATI qualification to further enhance their career with our client. The ideal candidate will meet the below criteria:

  • Relevant work experience aligned to the duties stipulated above
  • Strong IT skills including popular office software packages e.g. Excel
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good organisational and time management skills, with experience of working to deadlines
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English



Desirable Criteria:

  • 1 years' experience with Sage 50
