An international manufacturing business in Dungannon, require a Cost Accountant to join their team on a fixed term contract until December 2023.Are you a Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant with experience of working in a similar role?

VANRATH are delighted to be working with an international manufacturing business based in Dungannon who are currently recruiting a Cost Accountant to join their team until December 2023. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation who are investing within their Dungannon operations to ensure they reach their ambitious growth plans, over the coming years.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Cost Accountant will be responsible for cost analysis, management accounts support, and project accounting. To be considered for this role it is essential to have previous experience within a similar role.

The Ideal Person

If you are a Part-Qualified or Qualified Accountant with costing experience:

  • Strong reporting skills
  • Manufacturing experience (Essential)
  • Ability to work productively and flexibly while meeting deadlines
  • Strong work ethic and comfortable in a deadline driven industry
  • Cost Management


As a Cost Accountant your responsibilities will be:

  • Analysis of monthly management accounts
  • Cost control and analysis
  • Sales analysis - develop sales reporting
  • Assist with the implementation of the ERP system & other projects
  • Stock control and valuation reporting
