VANRATH are recruiting a Contracts Manager to oversee multiple Electrical projects for a specialist Contractor based in Newry, Northern Ireland.

Remuneration:
c£50,000 to £60,000 + package

Client:
Our client is a specialist contractor with many years' experience successfully delivering demanding and complicated projects across various sectors including hotels, hospitality, commercial, retail, education, healthcare and residential.

They receive a high level of repeat business from their clients due to their high level of delivery and collaborative approach with their clients, responsiveness to their client needs and their repeated commitment to excellence.

Business is very busy with many projects ongoing and many more in the pipeline. As a result of their continued growth, they are looking to bring in a Contracts Manager within the Electrical Division, responsible for overseeing 2 to 4 large projects at any given time.

Projects are located across the UK; a lot are in England and some are in ROI, so this role will suit someone that is happy to travel and stay away as required. Current projects are located in Norwich, Birmingham and Brighton with upcoming projects in Manchester and Liverpool.

The Contracts Manager will need to have experience in Electrical Installation of relatively large projects such as Hotels, Student Accommodation, large Apartment Complexes, between £2m to £5m in value.

The Contracts Manager will report to the Electrical Operations Director and manage each Project Manager.

The Ideal Person:

  • Degree qualified or other relevant qualifications
  • Experience working on relatively large Electrical Contracts
  • Track record working as a Contracts Manager ideally
  • Able to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Excellent management skills
  • Good IT Skills to enable flow of information between those involved in the project, particularly Microsoft Outlook
  • Happy to travel and stay away as required
