Community Partnership Officer


Duration: 3-6 months initially
Hours: 37 per week
Salary: £37,694 per annum
Location: Belfast

VANRATH are recruiting for a Community Partnership Officer to support the delivery, development and monitoring of funded community partner services.

This role will involve working closely with community and voluntary sector organisations, supporting service delivery, monitoring outcomes, reviewing performance and providing guidance around funding requirements.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Working with community partners, stakeholders and voluntary groups to improve support services.
  • Supporting partner organisations to plan, deliver and review services in line with funding requirements.
  • Helping develop systems to measure service impact on health and wellbeing.
  • Providing guidance and advice to organisations managing funding.
  • Preparing reports for management on outcomes, progress and performance.
  • Identifying training needs and supporting organisations to build capacity.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring databases are kept up to date.
  • Representing the organisation at meetings, events and programme activities.


Essential Criteria

Applicants must be able to demonstrate:

  1. Experience of programme or project experience working within the community and voluntary sector.
  2. Practical experience of developing positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders across the community and voluntary sector.
  3. Practical experience developing Monitoring and Evaluation frameworks and monitoring progress against key outcomes.
  4. Experience of analysing complex financial and non-financial information and producing recommendations to management.
  5. A current UK Driving Licence with access to a car. This will be waived in the case of an applicant whose disability prohibits driving but who is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements.
