Job Description


VANRATH are delighted to be working alongside our client, a leading FMCG organisation based in Lisburn, to assist with the recruitment of an experienced Commercial Finance Manager. This organisation places immense value on their staff and focus on achieving excellence throughout the organisation.

The Role:
The Commercial Finance Manager will provide support and analysis to several teams, aiding decision making, contributing to the definition of financial targets, and then supporting delivery of results.

  • Support the General Manager with strong business partnering to drive sales and profitability with P&L shared responsibility
  • Daily cost management, tracking & sign off (including reporting fluctuations to Senior Management)
  • Implement and maintain operational pricing including equipment pricing structures (First point of contact for pricing queries
  • Support in analysing contractual agreements and quotes to ensure profitability policy is adhered to.
  • Carry out analysis on cost & price changes and inform those responsible of findings
  • Maintain and issue pricing matrices and sales tools managing the CRC process (Customer Result Calculation)
  • Apply strong commercial acumen to identify and communicate to relevant parties trends and sales patterns developing within the business
  • Prepare and communicate analysis and findings across all levels of the organisation
  • Ensure adherence to the four-eye principle across the organisation
  • Ensure tax compliance & efficient flow of goods on Island of Ireland
  • Input, review & sign off of Financial Accounts produced by the UK & Ireland Group Shared Centre with responsibility for annual Planning Process
  • Responsible for Audit (External and Internal)
  • Responsible for maintenance of the risk register monitoring and internal controls system



The Candidate:
Essential

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified
  • Experience gained in an FMCG or similar B2B company
  • Previous Team Leader with strong people management skills
  • Competent in all Microsoft Office packages, specifically Excel to an advanced level
  • Experience of using SAGE / Microsoft Dynamics


Desirable

  • Previous position in a subsidiary of an international corporate organisation
  • Experience in a Senior Finance role
  • Commercial acumen to maintain up-to-date specialist cost and market knowledge to enhance credibility and assist influencing ability
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team



Salary:
£55,000 - £65,000 + 10% Bonus (Opportunities to Progress & Fantastic Benefits Package)
This is a Monday - Friday position (9.00am - 5.00pm) Working in the Lisburn Head Office. Permanent position.
