Commercial Director (Dublin/£100k/Hybrid)

Role Responsibilities:

The position will report to the CEO and will play a key role in delivering the company's high growth strategy. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Contract negotiation on major capital investment projects
  • Working alongside the senior management and legal team to bring projects to financial close
  • Responsible for developing high level relationships and framework agreements with new & existing suppliers
  • Manage senior client relationships once business is secured to ensure long term growth
  • Conduct market analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.)
  • Strategic and commercial business planning
  • Presenting to Board and Investors



Qualifications and Experience:

Ideally, proven experience within a senior level commercial role. You will have a minimum of 10 years post qualification experience ideally with experience in the construction, energy, agrifood or a related sector plus:

  • Strong negotiation and contract experience delivering complex, multi-party projects
  • Proven experience managing relationships with key clients
  • In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis
  • Commercial acumen partnered with a strategic mindset
  • Knowledge/experience of financing and debt markets would be beneficial
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Graduate in business administration, legal, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is an advantage

As part of a small but expanding team you will be expected to be deliver key contracts as we take our pipeline of development opportunities to financial close.

The role will be based in our Dublin office with flexibility on an element of hybrid working for the right candidate.
