VANRATH are delighted to be representing an NI industry leader, who supply some of the largest retailers and manufacturers within the UK and Ireland. Our client now have an opening for a Buyer on a full-time permanent basis, to play a pivotal part in the business's expansion in 2022.
The ideal person:
- Two years as a Buyer
- Manufacturing background is advantageous
- Strong negotiation
- CIPS qualification or working towards is desirable
As a Buyer, your duties will include:
- Maintain excellent supplier relations
- Negotiate on best price while ensuring top quality
- Liaise closely with NPD to ensure effective purchasing of raw materials
- Responsibility for updating and maintaining key supplier/purchase data on MRP
- Engage in market analysis and continuous improvement exercises
