Building Maintenance Officer (Public Sector)

VANRATH are assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation, in their search for an Building Maintenance Officer for 6 months initially with the possibility of extension based in Derry/Londonderry

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly and effectively to requests for day-to-day emergency maintenance and repairs to the buildings, installations, and equipment in all properties.
• Projects will include - Re-roofing, window replacements, toilet refurbishments.

Requirements
Essential skills required

• Demonstrate a broad knowledge of Building Maintenance issues with sound management techniques and strategies to problem solve and use own initiative.
• Demonstrate a knowledge of relevant Health & Safety regulations in relation to Building Maintenance and CDM regulations.
• Experience in a multi-site public authority organisation
• HNC, ONC - time served in a trade background

Desirable Skills required

• Experience using Auto CAD

Remuneration
£31,805, per annum, plus discount benefits.
