AWS Cloud Deployment Engineers (Fully remote)

I am delighted to be working with a recent entrant to the Belfast market who are looking for multiple AWS Cloud Deployment engineers to help build out the team. The company works across multiple sectors across Finance, health, AI and have been building a brand new digital transformation practice. The company turnover is over £1bn with office globally and they are looking to now increase the NI COE. They have recently made their first 3 hires and are looking to grow to a team of 10 in the very near future.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

In this role, you'll be front and center talking to clients, prospects, and internal teams to fully understand the business challenge at hand then work with them and a team of experts with multiple areas of Cloud domain expertise to arrive at an elegant and effective solution for the client. During this process you will lead proof of concepts and client testing of the solution as well as making any required customizations to the solution to ensure a successful deployment.

While our overriding strategy is Cloud-first for such solutions, we fully realize that there may be cases where a hybrid-Cloud or even an on premise solution will be the best approach to meet business needs. We'll be relying on you to look deep and find the best solution in a collaborative and inclusive manner then work with the client and others to make it happen.

Technical Skills required for the role

o Expertise with full stack application and solution design and deployment

o Expert level deployment skills in one of the primary Cloud hyper-scalers with a preference for AWS skills

o Deep understanding of Cloud security, user and identity management, and network configuration and administration

o Experience working deploying into AWS environments using Terraform, cloudformation etc

o Business acumen

Desired Soft Skills

o Skilled in collaborating cross-functionally with geo-distributed stakeholders

o Comfortable presenting to stakeholders both internally and externally

Process Specific Skills

o Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies

Remuneration

Salary for the role are flexible but would be around the 70-75k mark plus bonus and is fully remote
