Associate Civil Engineer

VANRATH are recruiting a Chartered Civil Engineer to take up an Associate role within a growing team working on a range of projects including infrastructure, water, waste water, traffic, heavy civil and bridge engineering.

Hybrid and remote working options available.

Remuneration:
c£55,000 - £60,000 + benefits

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage physical infrastructure projects, including planning, design, construction, and maintenance elements.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations.
  • Take a lead role in multiple projects, predominantly complex physical infrastructure projects, providing direction, experience and support.
  • Conduct a schedule of inspections and evaluations to ensure project delivery in line with the company's high standards.
  • Monitor performance and progress in line with clients' requirements and expected time-lines.
  • Review, improve and approve technical documentation, drawings and specifications, for civil engineering projects.
  • Adhere to and inspire adherence to relevant Health and Safety protocols.
  • Ensure project financial and programme performance.



The Ideal Person:

  • Civil Engineering Degree
  • Achieved Chartered Status
  • 7+ years of industry specific experience
  • Presentable portfolio of civil engineering projects
  • Ability to travel to sites across NI and ROI when required.
