VANRATH are delighted to be working with one of Northern Ireland's most recognisable employers who are currently recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join their team, initially on a contract basis with potential for permanency.

The Ideal Person

If you are an Assistant Accountant/Assistant Management Accountant;

• Third level education or IATI qualified
• Currently working towards an accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ICAI).
• 2 years accounting experience within a similar role
• Management accounts prep experience
• Involvement in either AP or AR function

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Accountant you will:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations in various foreign currencies
• Cashflow forecasting
• Prepare monthly VAT Returns
• Stock reconciliations and assisting in stock control and reporting
• Provide support to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions as required
