Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, the Assistant Accountant will complete month-end and year-end processes, work with wider finance team to support controlling and financial planning processes.

The Ideal Person

If you are an Assistant Accountant/Assistant Management Accountant and are keen to join a global corporate business;

• Assistant Accountant with management accounts experience
• Strong systems experience including MS Excel (Pivots and vLookups)
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Available to start at short notice

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Accountant you will:

• Ensure all month end deadlines are met
• Assist with the production of monthly management accounts
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Maintain associated SOX controls
• Support wider finance team in understanding financial data
• Support audits as required
