About you
- Qualified Accounts Technician (ATI or equivalent) or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, CAI, ACCA)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience with financial systems and strong Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments
- An eye for detail and strong organisational abilities
What you'll do
- Support sales and purchase ledger processing, resolving queries efficiently
- Assist with bank reconciliations and review general ledger entries on a monthly basis
- Contribute to month-end and year-end accounts preparation and statutory reporting
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts including stocks, fixed assets, prepayments, and intercompany balances
- Help develop and monitor KPIs to enhance finance processes
- Assist in preparing internal and statutory returns to ensure compliance
- Work closely with non-finance colleagues to support process improvements
- Provide ad hoc support to the Financial Controller and wider finance team
