Accounts Receivable Clerk

VANRATH are pleased to be working with a local manufacturing company as they recruit for a new Accounts receivable clerk to expand their rapidly growing team. Through recent success, my client needs to expand their finance function to help meet the demands of the business.

The Role
As an Accounts Receivable clerk you will be responsible for the following:

  • Monitoring invoices/credit notes
  • Ensure Invoices are raised and sent on time
  • Checking stock levels and prices, and dealing with queries accordingly
  • Communicate with clients to resolve invoices overdue
  • Liaise with other teams to ensure correct pricing of products
  • Maintaining sales systems
  • Raise arising problems to the supervisor
  • Assist with registering new clients and business
  • Any other relevant AR administration duties as and when required

The Ideal Candidate
The Accounts Receivable clerk will need to be a well organised and confident individual and must have:

  • At least 1 years' experience in working in a busy finance function
  • At least 1 years' experience in an accounts receivable/ sales ledger role.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders, clients and other team members
  • Previous experience using a computerised sales ledger system
  • Good IT skills with strong Excel skills
