Client
VANRATH is delighted to be working with market leading cash management firm, who works throughout the UK and Ireland. Established in 2005, my client is a trial-blazer in the transactional services industry. Having multiple accreditation's and being highly endorsed by all their end users, my client is continually growing and is end of driven individuals to help the business growth increase. The successful individual will report to the group financial controller.

The Role
A fantastic opportunity for an individual with at least 1+ years' experience in a transactional finance function. This role will allow you to develop your skills and progress your career whilst working alongside senior members of the finance team.

Responsibilities
* Assisting with month-end processes including using Sage 200 / Excel, etc
* Sales invoicing and accounts receivable.
* Purchase orders and purchase invoice processing.
* Preparing journals
* Data extraction and analysis

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years' experience in an accounts assistant or similar position and have or be working toward a professional qualification.
* Will ideally have experience as an Assistant Accountant, ideally with industry relevant experience
* Professional qualifications will be preferred, however not necessary.
* Will have experience in producing reports, analysis and forecasting data as required by the business
* Will be comfortable in working with high level direction and capable of meeting the core aspects of the role with minimal supervision
* Ideally have an in depth knowledge of Sage 200 and how it can interact with other areas of a business.
* Be comfortable with extracting and analysing data from Excel.
* The ability to analyse and present data in a clear and concise manner.
* Good organisational skills.
* Motivated to complete tasks to a high standard and to deadlines.
