Accountant - Immediate

Are you a Financial/Management Accountant who is interested in joining an international business based in Belfast city centre? This is an initial 9-month contract and will be working on a hybrid basis.

VANRATH are delighted to be working with a European business who are a leading player within the Irish market. This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to join a business who operate across multiple jurisdictions. Initially being recruited on a 9-month contract period, this role is offering the opportunity for an immediate start.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Financial/Management Accountant will take responsibility for supporting the business against a range of financial and commercial activities, working across multiple entities in different jurisdictions.

The Ideal Person

If you've 3+ years' PQE and interested in a contract role;

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3 - 5 years' PQE
• Strong reporting skills
• Ability to work productively and flexibly while meeting deadlines
• Strong work ethic and comfortable in a deadline driven industry

Responsibilities

As a Financial/Management Accountant you will:

• Assist with and report month-end close of Irish division
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial and business reports to senior management
• Assist with year-end external audit and taxation process
• Adhoc financial modelling
• Monitoring and review of monthly financial controls
