Advertised Selection

It is sometimes appropriate to advertise for a specific role in appropriate media, particularly where the appointment is for senior or specialist staff. In this situation we would

  • Agree the ad copy based on your job specification and arrange placement of the advertisement in an agreed medium or media - this ensures that a broad pool of candidates are alerted to the opportunity.
  • Meet with all relevant candidates and screen for suitability in terms of professional skills and experience, goals and aspirations, remuneration, personality and likely ‘organisational fit’.
  • Draft candidate profiles, which are submitted to you together with the CV as part of the final shortlist, and seek references.  

Executive Search

On occasion, it is necessary to look beyond advertising to identify and attract high calibre, senior candidates for specific roles. This is also true of unusual posts where it may be difficult to reach candidates through the media and where, typically, such candidates are not actively seeking new positions.

In these situations it is necessary to undergo a retained search. Through specialised research, our database of expertise and a broad reaching network, we identify suitable individuals.

The key stages in this process include the client briefing, action plan and timescales, research and candidate identification, initial approaches and interviewing, client interviews and offer negotiation.
