Management accountant URGENT - Belfast

VanRath are urgently recruiting for a Management Accountant with Manufacturing experience for a large Manufacturing company located just South of Belfast. This is a well established company who can offer a long term career in accounting with steady progression opportunities. Reporting directly to the Finance Director this role will be responsible for a team of c5 staff.

Key responsibilities:
Preparation and production of monthly management accounts
Preparation and production of annual budgets relating to production and sales
Provision of an accurate set of stock bookkeeping and manufacturing variances accounts for monthly management accounts
Provide a management reporting and costing system to effectively control costing information
Maintenance of a standard costing system and reporting on variances
Provision of cost data for large contracts
Assisting the Financial Controller and supervision of costing and wage departments
Inter-company accounting within the UK and Group Companies Worldwide

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years recent experience in a manufacturing environment. A strong knowledge of costing will be very beneficial although this is a very broad and varied role.
