Restructuring senior - 'Big 4' - Belfast

VanRath are actively recruiting for a restructuring senior for a 'Big 4' firm who are keen to expand their Restructuring team. The economic environment combined with recent activity and commitment to raising its profile has led this Restructuring team to win a number of engagements within the local market. Engagements are focused on the mid-market - and include a mix of both formal and non-formal restructuring activity. Clients comprise government agencies, funders to distressed businesses, and distressed business themselves.

As a Restructuring Senior, you will make a technical contribution to Restructuring engagements and internal projects. Within your role, you will actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships, execute restructuring procedures as required and contribute to defining the engagement scope. Working under the supervision of a Restructuring Manager, Senior Manager, Director or Partner, you will contribute to the progression of formal insolvency engagements, and the presentation of our work and its findings to clients on non-formal insolvency engagements. With a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks, you will escalate issues as appropriate. Working closely with colleagues, you will determine whether the work plan is properly executed, documented and concluded in compliance with our Quality & Risk Management guidelines.

The successful candidate will be a recently qualified accountant (or exam qualified, and working towards achieving sufficient work experience to obtain such a qualification) with experience of working on formal insolvency processes.
