Responsibilities will include:
Develop/maintain strong working relationships with key business decison makers to communicate value. Provide guidance and participate in the performance of audit procedures, especially focusing on complex and specialised issues. Collaborate to plan objectives and determine an audit strategy that appropriately addresses risk. Successfully monitor the engagement team against the budget.
Bring real leadership to the assurance department particularly in areas of developing new business.
Develop people, successfully delegate to staff, conduct performance reviews and serve as a positive leader and mentor.
Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge and enhance service delivery.
Generate new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions.
Achieve growth by understanding service lines and actively presenting ways to apply knowledge and services.

The successful candidate will be a graduate with a recognised professional accounting qualification and approx 8 years experience as an auditor for a public accounting firm or a particular business to meet special needs. You must have excellent project management skills with a track record of developing and maintaining client relationships demonstrating integrity within a professional environment.
