Audit Executive - Big 4 Firm - Belfast

VanRath are currently representing the Belfast division of a Global 'Big 4' firm. They are currently recruiting for an Audit Executive who is keen to work alongside talented professionals in a culture that is results focused, collaborative and inspirational. The role will include:

Client Responsibilities:
Effectively manage the audit process with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters
Lead and manage field work on clients sites including liaising with other departments to ensure the smooth delivery of the audit process
Identify additional sales opportunities demonstrating business development skills
An application and solution based approach to problem solving
Demonstrate expertise in primary accounting frameworks (UK GAAP or IFRS) and in related financial reporting matters
Identify areas requiring improvement in the clients business processes and possible recommendations

People responsibilities:
Influence, change and shape the direction of a particular activity, either internally and/or externally
Coach other less experienced staff through sharing experience and knowledge appropriately
Contribute to effective teamwork in internal engagement situations
Provide on the job training for developing auditing skills

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of outstanding performance and display a high level of people and business skills. You must be a qualified accountant with 3+ years relevant experience and a proven track record of developing and maintaining client relationships.
