Sales and Marketing Director - Manufacturing Co - Belfast

My client is a large Manufacturing company who have a new opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Director to take responsibility for all Ireland and UK markets. Working closely with Finance and production you will form a crucial part of the senior management team and will participate at Board level.

Key responsibilities for the role will include:
Responsibility for all sales activities, departments and personnel involved in Sales and Marketing for the Company
Leadership of the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining focus on the company's strategic goals
Analysis of sales statistics to determine business growth potential
Establish and monitor performance goals for all sales department employees
Training and Strategic guidance for all sales personnel within the Group
Identify and target sales opportunities and action plans with new and existing customers to secure additional business for the company
Develop and improve business relations with all key customers
Development of overall sales and marketing strategy for the group

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a senior sales management capacity ideally in the manufacturing or construction industry. Knowledge and previously established relationships within the industry will be an advantage. You must demonstrate a proven ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach. Strong motivational, innovative and interpersonal skills are essential to success in this position.
