Our client is a growing organisation based in Greater Belfast. Established for over 20 years they have experienced significant growth over the last decade to ensure that they are at a No 1 position within their market. They are currently recruiting for a new position for a Qualified Accountant in a Cost Accounting position.

Working with the Financial Controller the responsbilities of the role include;

- responsible for assisting with the preparation of and monitoring of the annual budget
- to provide management with gross profit analysis reports
- to report on breakeven points by products and factories
- to maintain budget to actual costs analysis by production line
- to prepare cost and efficiency analysis to assist with management in key decision making
- Assists management in special projects as required
- report on costs/margin of products/customers/regions and highlight areas for attention identify areas where enhanced profitability can be driven
-tracks yield data, performs overhead calculations, inventory valuation and cost allocation work order reviews
- creates cost estimates for established sales items

The successful applicant must be a fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and must have at least two years experience in an industry role within manufacturing. Strong analytical skills are also required.
