Our client is a medium sized multi site retail business based in Antrim. They are a stable organisation with a strong balance sheet. Due to recent expansion they are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant in a new role within the business.

Working alongside the Managing Director the specific responsibilities include;

- accounts preparation to final stages
- liaison with the banks and management of the bank account
- cashflow management
- sales/purchase ledger
- payroll
- credit control
- bank reconciliations
- VAT returns

The successful applicant must be IATI Qualified Accounting Technician with previous experience in a similar role where they were responsible for production of monthly management accounts. Strong levels of attention to detail should be coupled with strong Sage experience.
